Ella grew up in Modesto, California, playing youth soccer for Ajax. She moved to Menlo Park in middle school and graduated from Menlo-Atherton High School. She then played two years at Foothill College and decided to pursue a nursing degree. She has been with the club for 10+ years, filling various key roles on and off the field.
