Amar grew up in Vallejo, CA and loved playing soccer which taught him a lot about the game and life. As a youth, playing for state cup winning teams, ODP squads, and playing in Europe he learned that there is a lot of home grown talent in his own backyard!

Amar thoroughly enjoys coaching because he can use the game to give some confidence to his players. He believes if we can, we should strive to help others to be better than ourselves.

As an adult, Amar played at Napa Valley College and Deportivo Cometa.
Currently, Amar holds an Advanced National Diploma and has been grateful to learn from many great coaches.

Amar’s favorite soccer moments are waking up at odd hours to watch any World Cup game with family and friends. He also met his wife through soccer so the sport is a huge part of his family.

For Amar, Strikers embodies everything that is soccer; development, leadership, and honesty. He believes these qualities go a long way for young and older players alike. Amar is proud to be a part of a club that values players first!
